Compare · Bland AI alternative
A Bland AI alternative for teams that want to draw the campaign, not code the call
Bland gives you an enterprise voice platform on its own infrastructure at a bundled per-minute rate. SuperCampaign gives you the campaign: a canvas where the text, the wait, the AI appointment setter, the calendar booking, the retries and the callbacks are nodes you configure with forms. You bring your own Vapi and Twilio accounts and pay them directly.
- Free plan, no card
- Books on Calendly, Google Calendar or iClosed
- No per-minute markup on your providers

Credit where due
What Bland AI does well
Bland is a serious platform with real engineering behind it. Several things it offers, we do not.
One vendor, one bill
Bland runs the model, the speech recognition and the voice on its own infrastructure and charges one per-minute rate for all three. If you want a single throat to choke, that is a genuine advantage.
Inbound and multi-channel
Bland answers calls as well as places them, and extends to SMS, iMessage and web chat with shared memory across channels. SuperCampaign is outbound voice, SMS and email.
Certifications for regulated industries
SOC 2 Type II, a HIPAA BAA, PCI DSS v4 and FedRAMP 20X, per Bland's site. Healthcare, insurance and public-sector buyers may need those before anything else.
Latency and scale claims
Bland cites 400 millisecond response latency and enterprise concurrency. We rely on Vapi for the voice layer and inherit its performance rather than publishing our own numbers.
Voice cloning and testing
Custom voices and a scenario testing framework are part of the platform. We offer the voices your providers offer and test by running a campaign on your own number.
The difference
Where SuperCampaign is different
We are not a voice platform. We are the campaign that uses one.
- 1
The sequence is on the canvas
Bland's Pathways design what the agent says. Our canvas designs everything around it: the text sixty seconds before the call, the check that skips leads who already booked, the retry two hours later, the callback at 4pm because the lead asked for 4pm, the confirmation email. Each is a node with a form. No code, no developer on call for a copy change.
- 2
No platform fee, no markup
Bland's Build tier is $299 a month plus $0.12 a minute. SuperCampaign has a free plan and takes nothing per minute; you pay Vapi and Twilio at their published rates. For a team placing a few thousand calls a month the difference is a line item you can see.
- 3
Your model, your voice, your choice
Because the voice layer is your Vapi account, you choose the model from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Mistral, the voice from ElevenLabs, OpenAI or Vapi, and the transcriber from Deepgram or ElevenLabs. Switch any of them without switching platforms.
- 4
Calendar tools the agent calls live
Get free slots, book, search existing bookings and cancel, for Calendly, Google Calendar and iClosed. iClosed matters for high-ticket coaching and agency sales teams, and we have not seen it on Bland's public integration list.
- 5
Guardrails on by default
Quiet hours per channel in your timezone, per-contact opt-outs, automatic do-not-call when a lead asks the agent to stop, and a cap on callback iterations. Bland lists guardrails as an enterprise feature; ours are in the free plan.
Honest answer
When you should stay with Bland AI
Stay where you are if any of these apply. We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us.
- You need the agent to answer inbound calls.
- Your compliance team requires SOC 2 Type II, a HIPAA BAA or FedRAMP before anything ships.
- You want one vendor operating model, speech and voice on its own infrastructure, with no third-party providers in the path.
- You need iMessage or web chat as channels, or custom voice cloning.
- You have developers who prefer an API-first platform and are already productive on Pathways.

FAQ
Questions about switching from Bland AI
Is SuperCampaign cheaper than Bland AI?
It depends on volume and providers. SuperCampaign charges no platform fee on the free plan and no per-minute markup; you pay Vapi and Twilio directly at their rates. Bland's Build tier is $299 a month plus $0.12 a minute with telephony separate, per its pricing page. Work out your monthly minutes and compare.
Does SuperCampaign use Bland's voice technology?
No. SuperCampaign places calls through your own Vapi account, which lets you choose the model, voice and transcriber. Bland runs its own proprietary stack.
Can I use SuperCampaign without a developer?
Yes. Campaigns are drawn on a canvas and configured with forms. You only touch the API if you want to push contacts in from your own form or CRM.
Does SuperCampaign handle inbound calls?
Not today. Campaigns are outbound and start from a contact event, a tag, a Calendly event, an API call or an import. Bland handles inbound.
What about HIPAA or SOC 2?
SuperCampaign does not currently hold those certifications. Bland states it holds SOC 2 Type II, a HIPAA BAA, PCI DSS v4 and FedRAMP 20X. If your buyer requires them, Bland is the safer choice today.
