The AI appointment setter for solar companies that books the site survey before the third quote arrives
A homeowner who requests a solar quote sends it to three to five installers at once. Whoever calls first gets the survey. SuperCampaign calls within sixty seconds, asks whether they own the home and roughly what they pay for power, and books the assessment from your calendar while they are still on the line.
- Calls within 60 seconds of the form
- Qualifies ownership, roof and bill

Solar leads are the most expensive you will ever buy, and most of them go cold on the desk
Acquisition cost is rising, homeowners shop several installers at once, and the survey goes to whoever answers the phone first. The gap between your form and your first call is where the money leaks.

The script
The three questions that separate a survey from a wasted drive
Write them into the script in your own words. The agent asks them the same way every time and only offers a slot when the answers fit.
1“Do you own the home?”
Renters cannot sign. Asking first saves everyone time and keeps the agent polite about it.
2“Roughly what is your monthly electric bill?”
Below your threshold the economics rarely work. Set the number in the script and the agent routes the rest to nurture without offering a slot.
3“How old is the roof, and is it shaded?”
A roof due for replacement or under heavy shade changes the proposal. The surveyor arrives knowing.
On the call
What a solar qualifying call sounds like
Three questions, a decision, a booking. Under two minutes.
Illustrative transcript. Thresholds and names are examples.
Hi Sarah, this is Riley from Northstar Solar. You just requested a quote on our site. Did I catch you at an OK time?
Yes, that was quick.
We try. Two quick questions so we send the right person: do you own the home, and roughly what's your monthly electric bill?
We own it. About two hundred and ten a month.
That's right in the range we work with. Marcus can do a 20-minute roof assessment Thursday at 2:30 or Friday at 10. Which works better?
Thursday.
You're booked for Thursday at 2:30. The invite is on its way, and I'll text you a reminder that morning.
Before you publish
Calling homeowners: what to set before you publish
Solar has attracted regulatory attention for aggressive calling. The product's guardrails help; these settings are the ones solar teams get wrong.
Consent from the form
A quote request is consent to be contacted about that quote. Make sure your form says a call may be automated, and keep the submission record. Purchased leads need the vendor's consent language checked.
Calling window, in the homeowner's time
US federal rules stop telemarketing calls before 8 am and after 9 pm local time. Set the call quiet window to close at 9 pm; the product default closes at 10 pm.
Do-not-call scrubbing
SuperCampaign does not check the National Do Not Call Registry. Scrub purchased lists before import. Opt-outs captured on calls are honoured automatically.
Say who you are
The first sentence names the agent, the company and why you are calling. Add an AI disclosure where your state requires it.

Setup
Set it up in an afternoon
Point your lead sources at SuperCampaign, write three questions, publish.
- 1
Connect your lead sources
Your website form, your lead vendor's webhook or a CSV export. The API and signed webhooks accept contacts from any of them, with UTM fields for attribution.
- 2
Connect Vapi, Twilio and your calendar
Your Vapi key, your Twilio numbers, and Calendly or Google Calendar for the surveyor's schedule.
- 3
Write the script and the rule
Three questions and one sentence that says when to offer a slot: owns the home, bill above your threshold.
- 4
Draw the campaign
Contact created, send SMS, wait sixty seconds, AI call, loop counter. Set the call window to close at 9 pm.
- 5
Publish and read the transcripts
The first week of real answers tells you whether the bill threshold is right.
FAQ
Questions from solar installers
Does it work with purchased solar leads?
Yes. Import them as a CSV with a campaign tag, or have the vendor post to a webhook. Scrub against do-not-call lists first and confirm the vendor's consent language covers automated calls.
Can it book directly onto the surveyor's calendar?
Yes. The agent pulls live availability from Calendly or Google Calendar and books the slot on the call. Use a dedicated event type or calendar per surveyor or territory.
What if the homeowner isn't qualified?
No slot is offered. The call ends politely, the contact is tagged nurture, and you can send an email with financing or referral information instead.
How does it handle voicemail and no-answers?
Voicemail detection ends the call cleanly or leaves your message. A loop counter retries on your cadence, then tags the lead for a human.
Is AI calling allowed for solar?
With consent, yes, under the same rules as any automated call. The calling compliance page lists what the product enforces and what stays your responsibility. Solar has drawn regulatory attention, so keep consent records.
What does it cost per lead?
SuperCampaign has a free plan. You pay Vapi and Twilio for the minutes at their rates; a two-minute qualifying call costs a fraction of a purchased lead.
