Compare · Retell AI alternative
A Retell AI alternative for teams whose problem is the campaign, not the call
Retell gives you a strong voice agent platform: a conversation flow builder, inbound and outbound calls, batch calling and a long list of CRM connectors. SuperCampaign is narrower. It is the outbound campaign around the call, the text before it, the check for who already booked, the retry, the callback at the time the lead asked for and the email afterwards, drawn on a canvas and configured with forms.
- Free plan, no card
- Texts, calls, retries and email in one workflow
- Books on Calendly, Google Calendar or iClosed
The short version
Pick SuperCampaign if
Pick SuperCampaign if you run outbound appointment-setting campaigns and want every step for each lead, the text, the call, the booking check, the retry, the callback and the email, on one canvas without code.
Pick Retell AI if
Pick Retell if you need inbound calls, native connectors for HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho, HIPAA or SOC 2 on paper, an agent that cancels and reschedules on the call, or the lowest per-minute rate.

Credit where due
What Retell AI does well
Retell is a capable platform and several things it offers, we do not. If any of these decide the purchase, Retell is the better choice.
Inbound as well as outbound
Retell agents answer calls as well as place them. SuperCampaign's campaigns are outbound only.
A low per-minute rate
Retell's pay-as-you-go pricing starts at $0.07 a minute. Vapi's published components, which is what a SuperCampaign call costs you, add up to roughly $0.09 to $0.14. On minute price alone Retell can be cheaper.
Native CRM connectors
HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics 365, GoHighLevel and Zoho appear on Retell's integrations list. SuperCampaign has an API that any of those can call, but no native connectors.
Cancel and reschedule on the call
Retell's calendar functions can look up and cancel a booking on Calendly and Cal.com, and reschedule on Cal.com. Our agent can find slots, book and look up meetings; it cannot cancel one.
Certifications and concurrency
Retell states compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and ISO 27001, and includes 20 concurrent calls before charging for more. We hold no certifications yet.
The difference
Where SuperCampaign is different
We are not a better voice agent. We are the part that decides who gets called, when, how many times, and what happens afterwards.
- 1
One workflow per lead, not one batch per list
Batch calling places a call to every row in a file. A SuperCampaign workflow runs for each contact: a text first, a wait, a check for an existing booking, the call, a retry two days later if there is still no meeting, then an email. Each lead moves through it at their own pace.
- 2
Campaigns that start themselves
A new contact, a tag, a list change or a Calendly booking or cancellation starts the workflow. A cancelled meeting, or a no-show your closer tags, is called back within minutes without anyone uploading a file.
- 3
Callbacks that keep their promise
When a lead says “call me Thursday at four,” the agent records the time, the run waits, and the call goes out on Thursday at four. You set how many times a lead can push it back and how far ahead.
- 4
The booking check
Before each attempt the workflow asks Calendly or iClosed whether this contact already has a meeting, so someone who booked is never called again. iClosed matters for high-ticket coaching teams.
- 5
Text, voice and email in the same sequence
SMS through your Twilio number and email through a connected Gmail account are nodes on the same canvas as the call, with their own quiet hours and opt-outs per contact.
Honest answer
When you should stay with Retell AI
Stay where you are if any of these apply. We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us.
- You need the agent to answer inbound calls.
- Your CRM is HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics or Zoho and you want a native connector rather than an API call.
- Your buyer requires HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 before anything ships.
- Your agent has to cancel or reschedule existing bookings during the call.
- You have built and tuned conversation flows in Retell and do not want to rebuild the agent. SuperCampaign places calls through Vapi, not Retell.
- Per-minute price is the deciding factor and your calls are simple enough for Retell's lowest tier.

Try it in parallel
Trying SuperCampaign alongside Retell
SuperCampaign does not run on Retell, so this is a parallel test with a rebuilt agent, not a migration. Run one outbound campaign and compare meetings booked per hundred leads.
- 1
Pick one outbound job
Speed to lead on one form, a no-show follow-up, or a reactivation list of a few hundred contacts. Leave inbound and everything else on Retell.
- 2
Connect Vapi, Twilio and your calendar
Add a Vapi key and your Twilio numbers. Authorize Calendly or Google Calendar, or paste an iClosed key.
- 3
Rebuild the agent in the studio
Pick the model, voice and transcriber, paste your first message and script, and attach the calendar tools. A single-prompt Retell agent carries over in minutes; a large conversation flow has to be rewritten as a prompt.
- 4
Draw the campaign and publish
Contact created, send SMS, wait, booking check, AI call, loop counter, send email, add tag. Set quiet hours and publish.
- 5
Compare the results
Outcomes, call summaries and bookings for every call are on the logs page and on each contact, with the full transcript in each run. Compare meetings booked and cost per meeting against the same job on Retell.
FAQ
Questions about switching from Retell AI
Is SuperCampaign cheaper than Retell AI?
Not necessarily. SuperCampaign adds no platform fee or per-minute charge on the free plan, but your calls run through Vapi and Twilio, which come to roughly $0.09 to $0.14 a minute at Vapi's published rates. Retell's pay-as-you-go pricing runs from $0.07 to $0.31 a minute. For simple agents Retell can be cheaper per minute. SuperCampaign's case is the campaign logic, not the minute price.
Can I use my Retell agent inside SuperCampaign?
No. SuperCampaign places calls through your own Vapi account, so the agent is configured in SuperCampaign's agent studio. You would rebuild the agent rather than connect the Retell one.
Does Retell AI have outbound campaigns?
Retell offers batch calling: upload a CSV, send now or schedule, and set call windows, according to its documentation. That places a call to each row. The documentation does not describe automatic retries, text or email steps, or event triggers for a batch, which are the parts SuperCampaign's workflow adds.
Does SuperCampaign handle inbound calls?
Not today. Campaigns are outbound and start from a contact event, a tag, a Calendly event, an import or an API call. Retell handles inbound.
Which one books appointments better?
Both book during the call. Retell integrates Calendly and Cal.com and can also cancel, and reschedule on Cal.com. SuperCampaign books on Calendly, Google Calendar and iClosed, and its workflow checks for an existing booking before each call attempt. Neither list covers every calendar, so start with the one you use.
