Integration · Calendly
The Calendly integration that lets an AI agent book, confirm and rebook by phone
Calendly bookings and cancellations start campaigns. During a call, the AI appointment setter checks live availability, answers the booking questions, and books the slot through Calendly while the lead is on the line. Confirmations and rebookings run the same way.

What it does
Where Calendly shows up in a campaign
Three places an integration can appear: as the event that starts a run, as a node in the workflow, or as a tool the agent calls mid-conversation.
Triggers
Calendly trigger
Starts a run when an invitee is created or cancelled. Choose one or both events and a user or organization scope. The webhook is provisioned when you publish and removed when you unpublish.
Workflow nodes
Calendly: check meeting
Branches on whether the contact has an upcoming, past or any meeting, optionally filtered by event type. Use it to skip leads who already booked.
Cancel Calendly event
Cancels a scheduled event with a reason you set, for example after the agent rebooks a lead into a new slot.
Agent tools
calendly_get_slots
Returns upcoming available slots for an event type, plus the booking questions the invitee must answer.
calendly_book_meeting
Books the meeting for the lead, including answers to custom booking questions gathered on the call.
calendly_search_meetings
Finds a lead's meetings by email, filtered by active, cancelled or any.
Campaigns
Three campaigns teams run with Calendly
Each one is a published workflow you can draw in an afternoon. The guides walk through every node.

Setup
Connect Calendly in five minutes
One OAuth click, then pick event types where you need them.
- 1
Authorize Calendly
On the Connections page choose Calendly and approve access. SuperCampaign stores the refresh token encrypted and renews it automatically.
- 2
Choose the trigger events
Drop a Calendly trigger on the canvas and select invitee created, invitee cancelled, or both, with a user or organization scope.
- 3
Attach the tools to your agent
Create Calendly get-slots, book-meeting and search-meetings tools, pick the event type, and attach them to the AI call agent.
- 4
Add checks where they save calls
Put a check-meeting node before any call that should be skipped for leads who already booked. Add cancel-event after a rebooking.
- 5
Publish
Publishing registers the Calendly webhook. Unpublishing removes it. Deliveries are deduplicated so a retry from Calendly never starts two runs.
Details
What the integration supports today
The facts, so you can plan a campaign without surprises.
- Authentication
- OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Tokens are refreshed automatically and stored encrypted, scoped to your organization.
- Trigger events
- invitee.created and invitee.canceled. Calendly does not send a no-show event; use a tag for no-shows.
- Webhook lifecycle
- Provisioned at publish, removed at unpublish, signature-checked, deduplicated per delivery.
- Booking questions
- The get-slots tool returns required questions; the book tool submits the lead's answers.
- Event types
- Selected per node and per tool from your Calendly account. One agent can book different event types with different tools.
- Time handling
- All times are exchanged with explicit UTC offsets and shown to the lead in their timezone.
FAQ
Questions about the Calendly integration
Can the AI agent book directly into Calendly during the call?
Yes. The agent calls the get-slots tool to fetch live availability for the event type you chose, offers times to the lead, gathers answers to any booking questions, and calls the book-meeting tool. The Calendly invite goes out immediately.
Can a Calendly booking start a campaign?
Yes. The Calendly trigger starts a run when an invitee is created or cancelled, so confirmation and no-show recovery campaigns run without anyone touching them.
Does it detect no-shows?
Calendly only sends created and cancelled events, so a true no-show is marked by your closer with a tag or by your CRM through the API. That tag starts the same recovery campaign a cancellation does.
Can it reschedule instead of double-booking?
Yes. The agent books the new slot with the book-meeting tool and a cancel-event node clears the original booking with the reason you set.
Which Calendly plan do I need?
Any plan that allows API access and webhooks for your account. Organization-scoped triggers need admin rights in Calendly.
